this night the world stopped turning
the stars retreated from the universe into a mental void created by mad minds
dark holes depict their desperation
I stared at the nightly sky in wonder, all alone
wondering where we are now and where we are going
is there room for more in less or for less in more
duplicated singularities are designed from just dust
this earth is small but infinit
I plant my hope in its soil and hope it will grow

from the deep dark waters
let me rise and wash upon the shore
like a starfish, a seashell

like a sigh upon the wind
and salt staining the sand

let me find and unwind my soul

I am gone
I am whole

with a capital S
need to go outdoors
society's compulsive grip
dragging me from my
protective den
work to be done

how the morning knows your name
and greets you, like an old friend
how you spend your day,
just talking
about anything, even the weather

how the night knows your dreams
and reads the lines in the palm of your hand
how you sit and watch the moon,
just talking,
about anything, but the weather

behind an old door
wild roses everywhere
a secret garden
